It’s Friday, which means it’s time for the HTA Friday Review, where we provide a peak into the kinds of stakeholders we’re engaging with and projects we’re working on. We hope this will give those that haven’t got in touch yet more of a reason to do so, and to give our new friends that have joined our network a nice wave!
Over the last week the HTA team has been invited to present at some University of Surrey theme meetings which included ‘Catalyst for Innovation: Collaborating with Industry’ and ‘Digital Health & Data Science’ – both very apt for the HTA.
These meetings were a wonderful opportunity for us to introduce the HTA to the academics on campus who may not know about us yet, and open the floor to linking their skills and expertise to the HTA’s work.
At the start of the week the HTA caught up with Dr Julian, who have created an online mental healthcare and wellbeing service that makes mental health support accessible and affordable for all. It was amazing to hear all that Dr Julian have done in the mental health space so far, and we look forward to working together on future projects.
2021 feels like a distant memory, but what we haven’t forgotten are the exciting opportunities that were bought to the HTA at the end of last year. So, the latter part of this week has been spent catching up with organisations to ensure we’re still aligned and moving forward.
It’s been great to chat with our friends at Docobo and Camino Robotics, who are doing great work on their respective innovations that help individuals to maintain their independence. We’re looking forward to seeing how these technologies develop and how the HTA can support them.
We hope everyone had a lovely festive break, and that 2022 is full of more inspirational innovations and opportunities to collaborate. If you haven’t visited the HTA yet but would like to find out more, or if one of these topics sparks your interest, please get in touch and maybe we’ll be featuring you in a future update.
