Supporting clinicians to develop, test and implement new technology

The HTA exists to support the local health systems priorities, with all innovations going through the initiative based on clinical need via a series of competition calls to industry.

Senior clinicians from Surrey Heartlands will be shaping those calls, ensuring that the HTA’s work is accurately focused on solving today’s, and tomorrow’s, health challenges.

But innovator input is just one piece of the HTA jigsaw. The facility will also enable clinicians to work with citizens and researchers to co-design those new products and services. And once innovations are ready for wider use, the HTA and its partners can support with implementation and scaling of technologies across the system.
