It’s Friday, which means it’s time for the HTA Friday Review, where we provide a peak into the kinds of stakeholders we’re engaging with and projects we’re working on. We hope this will give those that haven’t got in touch yet more of a reason to do so, and to give our new friends that have joined our network a nice wave!
This week we’ve been speaking to a number of leads within Surrey on how the HTA can help support mental health. It’s wonderful to be a part of these conversations within Surrey and we hope the Health Tech Accelerator will be able to support in many capacities within this priority.
At the end of this week the HTA was given its close-up. A film for an NHS commissioned project on cancer in the prison system was filmed in our digital testing lab. We’re able to mock-up our lab with medical and technological equipment, providing users with a ‘real-world’ setting out of the real world. The space will mainly be used for the testing and development of new technologies, but this week it was perfect for the Synergy Theatre Project to use as a film set. We really enjoyed having the crew on site and can’t wait to see the end result.
If you haven’t visited the HTA yet but would like to find out more, or if one of these topics sparks your interest, please get in touch and maybe we’ll be featuring you in a future update.
